Brewery: Josephsbrau Brewing Co.
Location: San Jose, CA
Style: English Brown Ale ABV: 5.2%
This beer is brewed for distribution at Trader Joe’s. It is reminiscent of an American porter and will have a heavy does of maltiness to it. Dark brown on the pour and will hit the palate with toffee, nuts, and chocolate malts. This should be very drinkable and enjoyable and the best part about it, (that is, if you live near a Trader Joe’s) it is cheap! But don’t think ‘cheap beer’ when you partake.
Cheers to malt! (one of the core ingredients in brewing beer)
Advent Reading: Matthew 2:16-18 The Order of Herod
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.
17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah:
18 “A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.”
